THE HELM AND BRIDGE DECK THE FOLLOWING PRECAUTIONS MUST
BE TAKEN PRIOR LIFTING THE BRIDGE DECK TO ACCES THE ENGINE
COMPARTMENT.

• Always turn both engines off before raising the bridge deck or entering the
  engine compartment.
• Remove the helm seat from the pedestal to prevent it from hitting the helm as the 
  bridge deck is raised.
• Always empty the fishbox and livewell before raising the bridge deck. Water in the 
  lievewell and a full fishbox dramatically increase the weight of the brdge deck
  and puts additional strain on the hinges and hatch lifter.
